A girl can never have too many lip glosses, and the October StyleWatch issue is chock full of our staffers’ favorites. In fact, we tested so many that we had to tell you about more of our favorites! Try them out and tell us what you think — we love a second opinion!

theBalm BalmShelter SPF 17 Tinted Gloss in Pin-Up Girl is a gloss that totally lives up to its name! It went on smooth and thick (not sticky) to moisturize and give high shine. The great taste and SPF are bonuses too! $18, sephora.com.

Smashbox Decadence Lip Enhancing Gloss in Vixen provided great sheer, sexy color for day or night while keeping lips moist—along with plenty of dazzling shine and staying power. $18, smashbox.com

Lancome Color Fever Gloss in Mesmeric was a little dull which seemed to mute the gloss’s reflective qualities. However, we give the tilted sponge applicator high marks for making application quick and easy. $22, lancome-usa.com

The dark color of Clarins Gloss Appeal in 01 was intimidating at first glance. but it went on totally sheer with a nice tint. The light reflective particles added a dose of shine without making the look too glitter-y. $19, clarins.com.

As promised, Bourjois La Creme des Levres Lip Cream in Rose Doux did moisturize, but those with very dry lips beware: the creamy formula actually stuck to chapped skin and accentuated dryness. $14, sephora.com
