Hi Ladies,

I know this is such a newbie question, but I NEVER wear eye shadow. Can someone tell me the best eyeshadow(s) I can get today at Rite Aid to make a smokey eye for an event tonight? THANKSSSSS!

You really shouldn't wait until d-day to do something you haven't before. Hopefully you have time to practice a few times.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Beige as a primer/base

Physician's Formula Baked Eyeshadow Trio in Baked Oatmeal (use it wet)

Any ol' cheapie black waterproof pencil liner to smoke it out with

Thank you for responding! I know I really shouldn't wait, but I saw a picture of a smokey eye and was like "hm I'll try that tonight!" Maybe I will hold off until I've truly got it down. I really appreciate your help!

Is Rite Aid selling the Barely Beige?!?  I've been looking for it recently, but didn't know where to get it!

The Barely Beige was part of a Fall LE collection. Dunno if it's still available, but it's a great primer/base. Wet N Wild makes nice palettes and the color payoff is great for the price. But using a base like Barely Beige and a liner pencil to smoke out is great and easy, as internetchick suggested.

I could be wrong, but I believe I bought mine there.

True, but I see random shadows here and there and thought she might be able to get it.

It's definitely possible there are still some available. One of my Rite Aids(2) still has a display, but most items have been picked off. My local Walgreen's(4) have one display left and everything else has been picked clean. Although I found two of the polishes from that collection on a.regular Maybelline polish display.
