betty crockers carrot cake

just so you all know, betty crockers boxed carrot cake is terrible. i didnt have much time to make john a b day cake yesterday, so i went with the boxed mix instead of messing around with grating carrots, etc. i absolutely hate to bake. the mix doesnt come with anything in it in the way of raisins or nuts, so i added them myself. the cake came out really dense (dense even for carrot cake) and no amount of cream cheese frosting could save the dusty taste. it really did taste dusty! it just was not good. everyone in my family said it was fine, but i think they were saving my feelings.
