can I usa semi permenent colour on top of a permenent colour? even with Highlights underneath ??????

Hi can anyone advise me, I recently went from Highlighted hair to Brunette, wich was great and went very well, however it does fade quick due to the bleach, so I have been colouring my hair every two weeks, but the downside to this is, its drying my hair out despite regular care and conditioning treatments! So I was wondering could I start using a semi permenent colour insted? as I have heard they are much kinder to hair,  Any help apreciated thanks /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I am not sure how much kinder it is but I know a lot of the semi permanents "stick" just as well as the permanents over blonde hair. I would make sure to condition/oil your hair a lot in between and be super gentle with the styling heat and products.
