Hello, I'm a 20 year old girl having fair complexion but suffering from acne on my face and I want to know what should I do ? As m tired of applying toothpaste on them and clindamycin too but don't have any effect..so I read somewhere on the net, to apply Cinnamon and Honey pack on my face, yesterday, I applied and observed I'm not allergic to them so should I continue with it? And in case you've some more tips on acne, please suggest. Thanks

Suyana, I'm very sorry to hear about your acne. As a makeup artist with sever cystic acne, I totally sympathize and feel your pain!

I could write for hours on the subject of acne, but rather than use this forum for some kind of novel, I'll just tell you the bottom line: The only two products that ever worked for me are Accutane and Obagi. I've literally tried everything- Homeopathic remedies, antibiotics, regular facials both with and without microdermabrasion, french clay, Pro-Active, benzoyl peroxide, Retin A, diet change, lemon juice... you name it, I've done it. The Obagi NuDerm system is amazing and currently what I'm on. The problem with Accutane is that while for many people it seems like a permanent solution, sometimes it not. For me, it wasn't I went through two rounds of treatment- one for 7 months, one for 5 months, and each time my acne came back within 6 months post treatment. Accutane is so very hard on the body, and it is NOT something you can continuously use long term. Obagi, you can. You can use it till the day you die, if you like. It's an investment, but we all have our battles to fight and it's worth every penny.
