Im thinking of coming off the pill after my last pack, but would things change back?

Since started them I found my periods to be lighter, less painfull and to be regular, the same day every month, I also found I lost abit of weight too.

So if I came off it would things go back to how they was before?

Probably yes. Unless you had some issue before that was solved with the pill

No never had any issue, just went on the pill when i was with my bf, now we're not together i didnt think id stay on it, it is possible for me to maybe stop taking it for a while and then go back onto it in a few months or so if theres any change?

I think there's no probs regards to that. But beware of quick hang-outs with ex-bf , it's how a lot of people get preggers, LOL

It may take a couple of months for you to resume regular periods, but other than that everything should go back to same old, same old.

I think it might be best to consult your gynecologist or, depending on the type of pill, endocrinologist about getting off of your hormones. I don't even want to know what would happen to me if I would stop taking my Diane-35 *shudders*

I've always had irregular, painful periods and the pill solved a lot of those problems; however, once I stopped taking it, my periods immediately became infrequent, heavy, and very painful. I was counseled to wait a few months before starting a new cycle and I can't wait until enough time has passed.

Just be careful about future sexual encounters! After being on the pill for an extended period of time it's very easy to forget that you need a different birth control method.
