So you're tired of seeing those trendy cut bobs popping up everywhere, right? Well, how did this become the hairstyle of the moment anyways? Known for their bobs are

Ms. Posh Spice (of course) and

The lovely Rihanna, but let's take a trip back to a couple of years ago when Ms. Bootylicious herself, Beyonce, sported the cut way before now. Here's a clip of the video Me. Myself, and I where she's workin her bob:

i have always loved the bob!! i had a bob about 5 years ago!! and it was super short, actually thats how long its been since i've cut my hair (its down to my booty crack now)

I dunno who is copying who, but they all look great in my opinion. I wanted to cut my hair like that, but I saw a woman at the mall this past weekend with GORGEOUS long hair. Nahhhh, I'm keeping my locks.

I hate it on regular people. it looks weird to me like they're trying to hard; yet its a ugly bob from the 90's ....especially when people cut the back too short. aaah watever they can do wat they do

Ok I dont understand something..why is it that it has to be copying....it is a trend, therefore someone will rehash it or wear that style. Beyonce aint a trendsetter, guaranteed she got it from somewhere else....

I have never liked the Bob, my son tells me everyone that goes into the Salon where he works is asking for a Victoria Beckham Bob, sad but people will always copy a Celeb, it looks o.k. on some people but not on others

Yes, it's definitley NOt for everyone but these ladies look great. You would have to be " done up" all the time with it. Its not a casual style.

I think it looks HOT on all three! I would love to try it out but I love my long hair. I had a nasty bob that I got when I joined the military, up to my ears! OMG, I hated it, it was just straight across my head. Two years later (now) my hair is halfway down my back and I never want it any shorter.

i like the bob cut i would get it but my husband doesn't like short hair so i guess i am stuck with long hair lol. but i have a medium length hair right now and i think its to short. i love the way those celebrities look. i mean if you can pull of the look why not go for it.

I think it looks good on the celebs you posted! And like everyone else has said it looks cute if you can pull it off. I would get one, but I am trying to grow my hair out.

I look good in a bob!" then of course they would get one. They all look slightly different, so there isn't actually any cookie-cutter business going on. Just like there are tons of women with shoulder length hair... cuz it looks good on them!

I think bobs are hard to pull off :/ I didn't really like Rihanna's at first but... It's grown on me, I suppose.

And almost everyone can pull this hairstyle off.
