Corrective make-up tips!

Lets face it girls, no matter who we are, we all have features that we wish we could improve, or better still change. Even the supermodels and celebrities suffer from this syndrome. It's called "THE MIRROR IS TOO HONEST" syndrome. How is it? . No matter when you need to look your best whether its, a hot date, a job interview or that special occasion.

You look in the mirror and it shows you all your flaws, and maybe a few new ones, such as spots (from eating that irresistible chocolate the night before), or dark puffy circles under your eyes (the result of last night out on the town and 3 hours sleep).

But don't worry help is at hand, we can't get the mirror to lie, but we can disguise these flaws with the correct products and application technique.

So take a deep breath, RELAX, look back into the mirror and face those problems that are staring at you, and I promise that using my corrective make up tips, you will walk out the door looking like someone that spent a week on a health farm not a toxic plant.

1. DARK CIRCLES UNDER THE EYES

You can disguise these, by applying a light coloured concealer, over the dark area, with a damp sponge or concealer brush. Start by dotting on the concealer and then blend in

2. PUFFY EYES

These cause a crease under the eye, due to swollen tissue and fluid retention. To disguise use a light shade of concealer in the crease and a darker concealer on the puffy area, applying with a sponge or concealer brush.

3. SPOTS

Cover these by placing a medicated drying and healing concealer on to the area, with a concealer brush, or cotton bud. Apply the concealer over the fondation and set in place using loose translucent powder.

4. RED FACE

This can be a general redness on your cheeks or all over your face. To disguise this problem use a green moisturises on the red area, before applying a beige foundation.
I'm sure that after using these techniques you now looking a picture of radiance. Don't forget you can hide those common facial faults that mother nature has so kindly given you, wheater it's a big nose, thin lips, double chin! Learn how to disguise it with the correct make-up.
