Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, so hello to all and I hope everyone is okay.

I just wanted to get other peoples opinion on the issue for me that I have, nothing big just something I want to talk about and see what everyone thinks.

I get to escape really bad spots sometimes and I have a "stick" of doctors that works wonders on stains my country, but now I am getting dry skin really, no matter how I use the cream to the affected area it stays flaky really, something that is bad but he really just does not look great when I apply my make-up looks like my house and I could not apply make-up correctly for me.

I use a scrub on my face, but that does not work either, what ever I seem to always use interacts with the skin or to get a spot or it just does not work.

Can someone help me out a bit and let me know if there is anything I can do or use to help me..

The doctors creams are to treat a condition?

I would recommend PURE jojoba oil to moisturize your skin. Just a few drops on damp hands and apply to your face.

I was also suffered from same problem. Having reached the height of desperation, I’ve taken to using pure, extra-virgin olive oil on my nose and cheek area twice a day for the last week. I may smell like a Greek buffet, but it has worked beautifully. My skin finally feels hydrated and adequately moisturized.

Scrubbing your face will only cause more irritation and dryness.  I would recommend either sweet almond oil or jojoba oil.  Jojoba oil is harder to find and more expensive.  Sweet almond oil is lighter than olive oil and scent free. Its cheaper and more readiliy available at indian grocery stores. If you want, you can use 50/50 jojoba and sweet almond, it'll cut costs.  If you have soap making supply stores, you can buy jojoba oil there.  It'll be super expensive to get them at health food stores.

How about investing in a really thick creme? Creme de la Mer comes immediately to my mind. I know it's an investment but may be worth trying...

$150 for 1oz (30ml) is a big diffence from $3 :/. I'd go for the $3 first.

Use soap free face wash. You can use few drops of  jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil or Vaseline at bed time to get rid from dry skin. To exfoliate dry skin you can use sugar and olive oil scrub.

This one is a really good moisturizer. The "Perennial Intense Body Moisturizer" by Nu Skin. It protects the skin, provide resiliency, and increase skin's moisture retention and it is a fragrance-free formula.

You can find the product information here:

Try AHAVA's Deramud hand cream or foot cream as it contains clay which helps seal in moisture. My hands are notorious for looking dry despite having lotion on my hands but I found with the Deramud I'm applying less lotion less often and my hands are remaining soft.

Rosehip oil is very nourishing and moisturizing. It also has anti-aging effects.
