The Modern technique creates a simple-yet-sophisticated style crowned with radiant red color in varied tones. It is an excellent look for any client with Natural Level 3 - 5 haircolor.

Step 1. Create the Lower Level

</TD><TD width=480>Divide the upper level from the lower level in a horseshoe shape. Make 1/4-inch section from the crown to the center of the nape. Cut this section vertically at a 75° angle. (Illustration A)

Step 2. Create the Upper Level.

Beam starting at 1/2-inch and widening to 1-1/2-inches towards the crown.
