I got my order of Elemental Beauty!

First off, I love the fact that all the MMU comes in lovely glass jars with a lid with flowers printed on it. It looks very pretty!

Unfortunately the jars do not contain sifters, but I think this is a very minor issue.

What I ordered:

Three different foundation powders, all in soft focus (3 different colours, as I wanted to be able to use this throughout the year, and I'm very pale in winter, but have more golden colour tones in summer) They sell three different types of foundation: Healing, Soft Focus and Oil Control, so there's something there that will appeal to everyone!

Two finishing powders, one matte and one dewy finish

One blusher in Sugar (very pretty natural pink)

Two eyeshadows, one in light grey/stone and one very dark/black

Result: I used the matte finishing powder as a base, over which I used the sunshine foundation. I used two layers for extra coverage, but the foundation is pretty covering. Not full coverage, but good enough if you only want one layer.

I always use my eyeshadows and blusher over my foundation, but under my finishing powder, so I applied both eyeshadows and the blusher (which looks very natural, like I've just been outside and gotten a teeny bit flushed) and then applied the dewy finishing powder.

I then always spray a light mist of avene water to set everything, and after I apply mascara.

I look so lovely and natural! Not chalky and my pores (a major issue) are barely visible! With my Barefaced Beauty MMU I get enlarged pores quite quickly, and it definitely does not provide as good a coverage as the Elemental Beauty MMU.

The customer service is good, and Nicola (I think she is the owner) is lovely and very helpful! The products come in a gorgeous box with pretty pink stripes and dots, and are well wrapped so it does not arrive damaged.

Elemental Beauty is UK based, but I think they ship internationally, and if you check the Mineral Makeup Blog, you'll find a special offer for a free eyeshadow, so definitely worth checking out!

One thing I do have to warn you about: the foundation is a little bit lighter than you may think from looking at the website, so keep in mind to maybe go one shade darker with your foundation colour than you normally would.

xxx.

I just wanted to add: Nicola from Elemental Beauty has just emailed me back with regards to the review I did and has said that she will adjust the colours of the foundations on the website so they represent the real colours better, and she is going to send a darker shade to me for blending with the foundation colours! Now that's what I call great customer service!!!!!

If you haven't found your HG or if you just want to try something new, I highly recommend this MMU!

Last thing: I just checked myself out in the mirror, and my MMU looks as good as it did this morning, not even a sign of oilyness on my t-zone (my problem area)!

Thanks for the review! I want to order from them as well, how long did your order take to arrive?

The company is UK based, and because they work with PayPal, it takes a while to clear, but that's due to your own bank and PayPal, but once the payment is cleared it only took a day for my stuff to arrive!
