i am thinking of getting a new scrub after using my biore one for a almost a year!

i have oily skin, and i need a daily scrub.

do expensive scrubs work better than drugstore ones? any reccomendations?

Kim-

I finally looked at your link for the home microdermabrasion. Sounds like a good product.

Do you have samples that I might be able to try? My skin is super sensitive and I'd hate to buy it and then not be able to use it more than once or twice.

The only exfoliator I've tried is the one I use now, Avene's Gentle Exfoliator. I don't know if Avene is available in the US,it's a French drugstore brand, and their products specialized for sensitive, oily skins and for those who have acne problem! This exfoliator it's specialy for sensitive skins and it's very good to my oily skin.It costs 15 euros(16 $)If Avene's products are available in the US you have to try them, they do miracles to sensitive and problems who have acne! My acne problem dissapear with only an Avene's cleanser!!

Hi Sugarsoul, i guess you are young enough to be able to choose any brand of scrub and it will probably work for you.If you need a daily one, you could try another similarly priced one.

More expensive one's are usually used for more specialised skin treatments and might even be too strong for your skin.

After all the scrubs I've tried I always go back to Queen Helene brand. It has a wonderful gentle texture, and it is a drugstore brand!! I love it for my oily skin.

i second your opinion for queen helene scrubs! there are 4 different ones: oats & honey, apricot, cocoa butter, and mint julep. They basically are the same scrub with the same ingredients in different versions... the oat & honey one having... oats & honey! the apricot having apricot.. the cocoa butter being the most mositurizing (having cocoa butter in it) and the mint julep smelling minty fresh with kaolin in it (clay that sucks stuff out of pores). People can usually use ALL 4 OF THEM but then you have your favorites
