How many of you apply your eye makeup according to the shape of your eyes? I never have. Does it really make any difference?

I found this website that shows ways for different types of eyes- My question is, what kind of eyes do I have?

The website is here and here's a photo of my eyes. One of my eyes seems to be a little more.. sunk in or something. I dunno.. like I guess my eyelid is smaller or something?

Thanks for posting! That's great info. I think I have round and deep set eyes. I wish they had some instructions for 'combo' eyes. LOL

we just learned about eye shapes in class this week, just like the website we learned how to fix eyes my makeup which made a big difference in order to get Almond shaped eyes.

I'm wondering do you have a better picture? your face is turned sideways so it's hard to tell (and without makeup).

I would say they a bit wide apart but not much and the shape is almond but towards the end it looks like a turned down eye.

I've also wondered what shape eye I have - wide, close, 'sunken', etc etc. Also, my right eye is a lil smaller than my left eye...so I have no idea what I would have to do...lol

I would've thought almost everyone applies their makeup by eye shape.. Somethings make your eyes small, so you prob won't do it, others brighten and enlarge them so you will.. I def do.

i don't really think about my eye shape, i know they're deep set and almond(or at least that's what i think) but i think it's just about what works and what doesn't work for you. anyway, thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link. sort of looks like you fit into the vanishing lid category. my eyes are very round and I have been making the mistake of lining all around which makes them look rounder. I need to try to not connect the upper and lower lines at the corner. who knew...............
