Ive tried so many times to apply false eyelashes on but its still not working :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

can anyone please help me?

The trick is to not use very much glue, and wait for it to gummy up before you place them. Make sure you place them super close to your lashline, and hold them for a few seconds until they dry. If you let go they will shift and not look as good.

Couldn't have said it any better than playedinloops.

Really though, once you get it right a few times it'll become easy to you. Just gotta get the hang of it, first.

What specifically are you having issues with? Getting them on? Keeping them on? A little more detail and we might be able to pinpoint the problem better than just giving you generic advice. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

does anyone know how to may false eyelashes last longer? (I mean for multiple uses) I like to wear falsies every weekend and i've found I can get two or three good uses out of them but then they start to get kind of clumpy... is there any way to keep them looking good longer?

Or does anyone know what kind (thickness/length) of eyelashes look best without the use of any mascara, because I'm sure not using mascara is one thing that'll make them last longer,n but the really thick ones freak me out because i don't want to look like a drag queen!

Thanks!

I buy mine from china.... They have fabric or some heavy band and are pretty heavily built... I wear them all the time and even though they are made kinda thick they are not heavy on my eye.... I get 15/20 wears on each set..... I have some listed for trade I think

Make sure you aren't putting on too much glue! I think a lot of people will over-do it, thinking it will stick longer..but it can make them hard to dry and slip around on the eye. Also, make sure the strip is measure to your eye and isn't too big :]

Thanks! Could you tell me what brand/what site to order them from?

Ebay.... just search false lashes they come in lots

One thing that helps me is youtube. I need a visual when I learn how to do things and I guessed searched on YT and found a few vids. And of course lots of practice.

I bought my first pair of falsies last night. Im working up the courage to try and put them on. I told my SO about it and he laughed and said "You can handle sparring with someone with live steel but you're afraid of eye lashes??

Yeah, doesn't make sense to me either but there you have it. LOL

LOL Well its really not that scary. Just takes lots of practice. I suggest buying the $1 ELF lashes until u get used to it.

I'm just venturing into the world of false lashes too, lol... You know what's cheaper than elf eyelashes, are ebay eyelashes.. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I just got 10 pairs for $2 (incl shipping!!!) Many sellers sell them (they come in huge boxes with blue print on the front) and I've read many good reviews about them.

Can you send the link to the seller?

Here are pics for my first attempt at putting on lashes!

Still need to practice but I understand it better now. The little "tweezers" that came with the set were annoying to work with however. Once I tossed it and worked with just my fingers, everything was much better.

Heres a selection of what I use for both my customers & myself...though I keep my Shu Umura strictly for personal use.

I have some more Shu Umura lashes that are already used. I remove them carefully & keep them in old jewellery boxes. They don't get damaged or dusty that way. I do find it awkward to apply my own. But here's how I do so: Apply foundation everywhere but at the lash line. Put on a solid line of liquid eyeliner to the lash line & then sparingly apply black mascara. I then trim the length to size at the inside edge. I put the lash glue onto the strip along the lashes & leave for 30 seconds or until it gets slightly tacky. Then take the lash, bend it & apply from the inner corner to the outer one. After this I apply what ever eyeshadows I'm using, taking care to keep them just above the eyeliner. The liner & mascara both help to blend the lashes in. I then press gently at the inner eye to make sure it's well adhered. When I'm out I take some eyelash glue with me just in case...there's nothing more uncomfortable than wonky strip lashes! Hope this helps

I've always heard that it's better to trim from the outside edge . . .  Does it matter?  Or why should you trim the inside edge?
