I think the same Arielle.. I use lots of products but when i look at others i feel like i don't have make up on at all! But thats the art of make up really, isn't it!

The plum eye sounds goreous. I have Waveline but havent used it as an e/s yet

you should definitely try it out. we have a similar eye color (only yours are bluer *jealous*). using waveline is the only way I can pull off a smokey eye at all, everything else makes me look like a drag queen and zombie all in one

LMAO i'm sure you don't look like a drag queen! I'll post pics when i try it out

I was trying to explain the concept of using a lot of products even when trying to achieve the "no make-up" look and my SO didn't get it at all! lol. Love the sound of your FOTD - kind of smokey but nude. Love the sound of yours, too, Arielle.
Here's mine:

BB Creamy Concealer in Porcelain

BB Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Pale Yellow

MAC Studio Stick Concealer in NW15

TBS Shimmerwaves in Rose applied lightly all over as highlighter

Cheeks

Too Faced Flushed Blush in Pretty in Pink

Eyes

BB Creamy Concealer under eyes and on brow bones

UD Primer Potion on eyelids

Botanics Star Anise e/s on brows

Botanics Blazing Star e/s on brow bones

UD Strip e/s on eyelids, crease, outer corners, inner corners and lower lash line (with Blazing Star over the top in the centre of the lids to highlight)

No7 White e/l on lower inner rims

Estee Lauder Slate Writer e/l on lower lash line, blended with Strip

Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black

Lips

Chanel Acapulco l/s

Wow, everyone looks so stunning. Here's my taking-my-nieces to the movies face:
  • Smashbox Smashing Rose Brown/Golden Orchid e/s duo
  • Armani Smooth Silk Pencil #8
  • Za Black Cutie Curl Volume Mascara
  • WnW Medium Coverall Stick
  • Armani Micro-Fil Loose Powder #2
  • Smashbox Smashing Stylist/Shimmer blush duo
  • Aquaphor Healing Ointment (as lip balm), WnW l/s #574A, & Chanel Blush Glossimer

Here's my teaching-a-class-then-studying-all-day face

Eyes

  • Maybelline Sunbaked Neutrals (pallette of 8 colors, though I don't use them all!) -- a medium brown on the lids, blended to a light champaigne color under the brows. (I never use a darker color in the crease -- it does not help my deep-set small eyes!)
  • Milani Sun Goddess eyeshadow on the lids, over the brown -- Sun Goddess by itself is a little orange for my taste, but mixed with a brown it turns into a nice shimmery bronze/copper color
  • Maybelline Great Wear Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate (upper lid only).
  • Maybelline Lash Extension Waterproof Mascara
Face and Lips
  • L'Oreal Mattique Foundation
  • L'Oreal Air Wear Concealor
  • L'Oreal Hydra Perfect Powder
  • L'Oreal Endless 8-Hour Liquid Lipcolor in Forever Blushing

Oooh Violet, I think I need to try Botanics Blazing Star -- so pretty! Is your pic good representation of the color or on you, is it more of a mix with UD Strip? At any rate, I like!!

I love your yellow shadow Trisha -- and I agree with Janelle that you should go out with it sometime, cuz you can definitely pull off some bold looks!

Today I'm pretty basic & natural:

MAC Hyper Real Foundation

MAC Blushbaby Blush

Benefit e/s in My,Myself & I - wash from lashline to brow

Benefit e/s in Buckle Bunny - to contour

L'Oreal Lash Architect in brown

Benefit l/s in Bahama Mama

Nothing on today cept' for my glasses & some lipgloss! Just bumming around watching TV

Thanks. It's basically just a frosty white so any will work the same. Botanics is only available here anyway because it's made by Boots.
