Foundation suggestions for combo skin

Hi! I am curious as to what foundations you've tried that work good for this skin type? This question is to other people that have combo skin, what foundations have worked for you? I am wanting an oil free foundation that will stay put all day long. Thanks

I have combo skin too and I found that Prescriptives works best for me. I have been using it for years now. I used to use Cliniqu (its good) but I really like Prescriptives a lot.

Yeah, i tried prescriptives too and it just didn't work good for me. It could just be i didn't like the color, they color match me wrong...a lot!

Its so hard to find the perfect foundation.....I have been trying for years! Actually, I am commiting a major makeup sin right now. My shade doesn't match my skin.....I stopped going to the tanning salon and the bottle is still full. I don't want to spend 30 bux on a new shade because I am broke.....

What about Mac? Have you tried that?

Yeah i actually used it a while ago when i had a tan but now im back to being fair skinned and so it seems really hard to get a match in anything!!

Doesn't this foundation have oil in it? When I asked our counter rep about it she said not for oily skin theres oil in it.

I use the MAC studio mist foundation and I'm loving it. I have oily/combination skin as well and what I put on my face first after moisturizer is the milk of magnesia on my t-zone. After that I apply the primer then I apply the foundation. I don't have oily face the whole day! But don't forget to use a scrub on your face once or twice a week because I find that using milk of magnesia sometimes clog the pores on my nose. But other than that, it works very well.

ooh nice, maybe i should check out mac again...

i have used the dior forever too and i liked it but for some reason my face still ended up somewhat shiny on my t-zone :-/

Well you should try to put the milk of magnesia on your t-zone and use the dior foundation and see how that works before switching to another foundation. But i did hear good reviews about the dior foundation that I think i'm going to give it a try myself =).

i can't get a match in dior, so i got a sample of MUFE mat fdn. Hope this one works
