If sunlight is available, I apply near my window or in my bathroom, which has a skylight.

But yeah, there are times i apply them in my lit bathroom, which has a yellowish tinge to it, only to go aside and be disappointed.

For perfect photos you need to use photoshop

oh gosh no. For brides, I make sure they look gorg as they walk down the aisle. No need to worry about too dark/too light. I've seen so many brides get their makeup done "for photography" and they look like hookers as they walk down the aisle. With foundation too dark, too thick, dark makeup colors...

I'd rather have my bride look gorgeous on her day... just do a touch more lip and eye liner and she'll look perfect in the photos.

in my friend photos from wedding photographer used PS and says before doing photos that she don't need to worry about her make up, about graffiti on the walls, about weather, because he will correct it in PS. And they have realy good photos

The one thing I have learned is to never trust the people who work at the makeup counter. Most of them have no clue what they are doing. It's best that you do the trial and error for yourself. Practice makes perfect.

Is it possible a foundation can look good in every lighting?Even the bad ones...

I think a foundation *could* look good in all lighting, even harsh sunlight or fluorescent, IF it is exactly the shade of your skin, matches your undertones, is relatively sheer, blended well and so on.

Sometimes less is more...which is tough to get used to!

this always happens to me. the way i deal with it is by setting it with a facial spray and that tends to even it out for me by the time i get outside.
