Hey, I've browsed and lurked a little bit in the past, but it's time to get involved with the conversations!
I wandered back over here to chat about My Glam and subscription services since there's so much to compare and discuss, but I'm hoping to get involved more beyond that. I've been into taking some great swatches lately, so I hope to share those as needed as well. I'm a swatch checking monster when I'm at the store buying new things, so I want to give back as well! Posting and being more involved with a community will hopefully be the kick in the pants I need to put more into my art/makeup/nail polish blog.
I recently turned 30, and it's taken me this long to get really into makeup, but it's grown into an obsession. There was a time when I felt like you had to chase me with mascara and I shied away from any colors that weren't subtle, but now that I've figured out how to play with it as an art form, I'm loving it. I also feel the desire to own all the colors and hues. Heh. My nail polish collection is probably the best (or worst in terms of addiction). I have easily over 200 at this point. I quit counting. The worst part is I haven't been collecting for more than 2 years. Oops.
I do believe there is a swap area around here too...I think I have some polishes I could do without that others may love.
