I'm doing the makeup for an upcoming dance show at my college and it's based on the film Memoirs Of A Geisha, so obviously the makeup is geisha themed... this was my first full attempt (I have practised on one of the dancers at college but that was only the lips and white base) and I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out. The white base could have been better but generally speaking I'm pleased with it! The director wanted something fairly dramatic and noticeable than the traditional geisha. They will be wearing false eyelashes and possibly some red glitter over the eyeshadow when they actually do the show too
