i know probably not so many people here celebrate St Nicholas, but it's a tradition in our family to receive from mom a small chocolate St Nicholas (or santa if she didn't find one) every december 6th. and when i woke up this morning, i found one on my desk (hmmmm, and it's a Kinder one !! wonder if there's a surprise inside

anyway, who would refuse an occasion to eat chocolate ? certainly not me

yay! i forgot about today I have to get Evil One something. This is why we don't have kids-he acts like one! Chocolate is a good idea

we also celebrate it here, if I was at my parents house my mom would probably get me a chocolate St. Nicholas too.

We celebrate it here as well. I got some chocolates.

It's also my bunny Aika's birthday today

we don't celebrate it, but we have a chocolate advent calendar, so we get a piece of chocolate every day from dec. 1st up until christmas anyway

Yay for St. Nicholas day - I loved it as a kid because no one else celebrated it here (I'm originally from Europe where I think it's more celebrated) so I felt special with the treats I'd get (traditionally left in my boots) when no one else would.

Funny enough, my BF happened to remember today is St. Nicks day and left me candy in my boots.

Oh! I remember when we lived in Germany... Sitting our shoes outside LOL! Cyera's godmother generally remembered to give gifts, but since we're so far away now, I don't think it's the "same" for her as Christmas. Happy St. Nicholas Day everyone!

aww, yesterday was Sinterklaas in Holland!!

Now i miss it! I loved getting chocolate letters in my shoe and stuff
