I went to planned parent hood the other day and they were telling me how now days people left and right are getting STD's .. is it true.. or are they trying to scare me... so i thought i would runa poll.. no body knows your answer.. so

Well there's alot of people who aren't careful and who're sleazy so i'm pretty sure alot of people contract STD's.

And this is true to Patricia, there are some innocent people that have had sex with someone they loved and they contracted to something. So I am not bashing innocent victims. But I am bashing the people that know they have strange things going on in their bodies, yet keep having unprotected sex.

ugh no thank god!!! But I did just read two days ago in Cosmo that 1 in 4 women have had, have or will have an std at one point in their life!! Its actually more common than you think. SAFE SEX PEOPLE!!!!

Thankfully, NO! But I very easily could have! When I was married to my ex, he turned into a man whore and was cheating on me left and right without protection. Since I didn't know about this, I didn't think I needed to protect myself from my husband. I got tested for every STD before I got remarried and I am sooo glad everything came out clean! I was so scared!

I haven't gotten any, I don't think I will either, at least not by sex. But that statistic of 1 out of 4 is scary. I also have read that 1 out of 3 will get skin cancer in their lives (or maybe it was 1 out of 3 people, not just women).

Nope. Though my chances are slim, I was rather conservative with my "pocketbook" before I met my husband. Meaning, I still held a "V" card also.
