Today I went to my local MAC counter and I bought "Your Ladyship" pigment. I tried the tester on my hand at the counter and it looked great. Well I get home and try it on my hand again and to my sad realization, the pigment isn't really pigmented. The color little melts into my skin and you can barely see it!!

I honestly feel like I spent $20 on gold glitter. Out of curiosity I swatched Your Ladyship and my NYX loose e/s in nude and honestly, NYX looked better on my skin!!! I really want to return this now, however the fact that it is a LE is what is stopping me.

Here is a picture of both of the colors. Ignore my hairy arm! LOL Your Ladyship is on top, NYX Nude Pearl is on the bottom.

I really think you should return it. It looks pretty much the same as the other one. Don't think about whether it's LE or not, unless you're collecting everything LE there's so many things that are LE anyway they're not even special anymore to me haha. Plus you are not satisfied with it.

The NYX also has better staying power. I've been wearing both on my hand now for about an hour and the MAC has almost worn off.

Before I read your post, I just clicked on the pic to see the colors. Then I went back to see what the name was of the BOTTOM color. VERY NICE. Mac, not so much.

Once again, a very clear example of how MAC is not the best for everything and everybody. I think everyone has pretty much hit the mark, return something you're not satisfied with.

Yes, if you're not happy with it, LE or not, definitely take it back and use the money on something you know you'll like. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

Maybe this might help you when you are deciding if you want to buy the piggie or not.

Good choice about returning it. You'd probably never use it & then wish you returned it; I always do..lol.

I have over 55 colors of MAC pigments and never saw such a lousy pigmented pigment like Ladyship
Can u pls show us a picture of it with a base?

gThe only eyeshadow bases I use are UDPP and WnW cream eyeshadow in champagne toast.

Here is a picture with the WnW e/s as a base. On top is the e/s with the pigment, and on the bottom is just the cream eyeshadow.
