Help! I can't uncurl my individual false lashes!

I picked up some individual false eyelashes from MAC the other week and loved them, except that they were slightly straighter than my natural lashes once I put them in. Being new to falsies, I went and curled them post-application. Took them out later and I just can't seem to get them to uncurl. I've tried all the tips and tricks I could find online - soaking them, using a lash curler to gently soften the bend. I even tried to lightly glue them to a surface so that I could put a book on top to flatten them out but that idea didn't pan out too well.

Can it be done, and if so, how?

Eeeek.  If you already tried everything, chances are these are permanently damaged.  Are they soo curled that they look bad?  Can you reuse them the way they are, why uncurl them if you're just gonna curl them up again?

This is why I buy cheapo's - I don't have to feel bad about throwing them out after a one time use.
