I am very, very, very, very, very, very fair skinned. Did I say very?

The *only* color that matches my complexion is BE fair (the lightest one they have, I think it's fair?)

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with matching this same color in a different brand(s)?

Any help would be mucho appreciated!

Warmly,

beaglette

Lumiere and Alima both have some really pale colours, I'd say you'd probably find a match with both of them.

TIA!

Duhh.. I googled and found lumiere.com and alima's website. Is there elsewhere to buy these for a better price? I'm a bargain hunter

Lumiere's foundation is only $8 or $9 for a travel size, and there's a sample package that's $9 that lets you try four foundations, a blush, and a finishing powder, plus gives you a $5 off coupon for another order - that's not bad.

Alima's a bit more pricey, but their samples are only $1.50 each. Don't think you'll find cheaper than that.

Third alternative if you don't mind mixing colours (it's easy, the bases are pre-made) is Silk Naturals, and their foundation and sampler kit is $4. You'll be certain to get a match, since you're adding the tinted base yourself. Coverage is sheer, buildable to medium, and the F/S foundation is like $10.

All of them look a lot cheaper than BE. If you have access to the swap folder here or elsewhere you might be able to trade stuff, but if you're sampling it's usually easier to pick out your own colours.

Well I was going to suggest Fusion of Color. Fusion of Color Cosmetics. I think their match to BE Fair is Sugar.

But if you think Lumiere and Alima are too high, then you won;t buy from FOC.
