Mmmm!!! Thanks for posting this. I trying to think about what's for supper tonight and this gives me some great ideas.

One note: since I don't see pork on the list, I'll throw in my favorite recipe for pork roast. Overnight, marinate a 2+ lb pork roast in 4c water, 1/4c kosher salt (there's that kosher salt

), 1/2tsp. garlic powder, 1/2tsp. ground black pepper and a bay leaf. I do this in a ziplock bag for even marinade distribution. The next day, place the pork on a roasting tray in a covered roaster with some of the marinade for extra moisture. Cook for time required by weight, removing the lid 30 minutes before completion time.

This makes the juiciest pork roast!

This is an excellent reference guide that needs to hang on our fridge!

Thanks so much Cali! I'll have to add this to the next bulletin, too!

Great list, thanks Cali! I love growing herbs and I am always looking for new ways to use them, this will come in handy. Besides being good for cooking, making tea, etc., a lot of them are really pretty for landscaping too, I have lavender, chammomile, sage and just about every kind of herb you can think of in a large flower bed in my back yard, some of them produce beautiful flowers. Word of caution though, if you ever plant catnip, be sure to place it off to the side, every cat within a mile of your yard will visit and take great pleasure in rolling in it, it is kind of entertaining though to watch them, nothing like a bunch of drooling, stoned cats laying around the place
