How visual kei happens...

One of the threads just reminded me of visual kei and I recentley came across a tutorial video (in japanese though ^^" sorry) but I find it interesting so I thought to share

The people in the front are the band members to Phantasmagoria (one of my favourite bands) Oh, and yes its a dude lol.

For those who are not familiar with visual kei:

- refers to a movement among Japanese musicians,that is characterized by the use of eccentric, sometimes flamboyant looks. This usually involves striking makeup, unusual hair styles and elaborate costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics.

I love the visual kei look! It's amazing how all these guys can do make-up so well. If I ever need inspiration, I just go get some Cure magazines and look at the make-up tutorials. ^^

This is from a DVD that came with a Japanese magazine called CURE. It's a video version of the "Style Council" section of their magazine.
