Today I headed to physiotherapy for my first time after my left arm and wrist surgery. I am not quite ready to start exercises in regards to my arm but the therapist would like me to desensitize my scar/incision areas. They are quite painful and burn to the touch which is normal after having nerve type surgery. Anyways my little finger on my left hand is numb, worse after surgery but that is somewhat normal, takes awhile for sensation to come back, plus I was told it may never come back.My little finger has been injured at least 10 times in the past 2 years, some of the injuries never treated. So this past year my finger partially dislocated a few times. The therapist was saying I have hyper extended joints in all my fingers. Anyways he was touching, pulling slightly but gently on my little and ring finger and guess what happens?! My little finger partially dislocated! Ack! He was a bit shocked. I ended up wiggling it around and it snapped back in place. Now my frickin finger is killing me! Anyone want to trade fingers?
