I've been eyeing some products from the brand for awhile now and am wondering if I should make the investment. I haven't seen too many reviews on them and was wondering if I should just take the plunge and buy the products.

Here's what I'm interested in:

Lipstick in disciple

Lipstick in test

lashes #21 and #12

eyeshadow in moan, pivot, fledgling and incubus.

Any thoughts, or suggestions for dupes?

I adore Illamasqua, their store opened last year in my country (Croatia, Europe), and since then we, beauty addicts, are all raving about them

!

But as I don`t wear lipsticks, I haven`t tried none of their lipsticks!

Check out my friend`s blogs,

one is Illamasqua`s community manager for Croatia, she has awesome swatches and reviews (available also in English)

I heard that their lipstick are wonderful, creamy and of very nice texture, but some of them might be a little bit dry.

Eyeshadows are very, very pigmented.

Their products are made in Germany, in fact Kryolan is producing them, therefore there might be some big similarities between some of the products , like Illamasqua`s blush Tremble and Kryolan`s TO, they look exactly the same on me!

I have tried their lipsticks and if you're  a matte girl, then you'll be in love. They're very matte and are very long lasting. Their eye shadows are also very matte ( just the pigments are really glittery and their cream metallics are as well) and they are very pigmented and velvety. As for dupes, i'm not sure but all Sephoras have this line so you can sample these all in store!

You didn't mention the nail polish, but I have used the Illamasqua polishes and they are very high quality...good coverage and some unique colors that I just can't find dupes for. I hope that speaks to the brand as a whole, because I have my eye on some eye shadows as well- again, such unique colors!

Temptalia.com reviews Illamasqua products on a fairly regular basis - she raves about their eyeshadow formulas. I think the company offers some great colors, and I'd like to purchase a few of their products because the quality is apparently high.

Quality is high, no worry about that, but some products are more worth of your attention than the others. Personaly, I tried almost everything from their range and I can say that blushes, pigments, cream pigments, lipsticks and intense glosses are amazing.

On the other hand, I dont like eyeshadows so much. Not that they are all bad, but you should definitely try them out first (i.e the green shades are very poor pigmented). There are, however, shades which are really good, with nice texture and pigment, but as I said, try it out first.

I am also not fond of liquid metals - although they look amazing, they do not dry when applied, so the creasing is inevitable.

Depends on what, but most products are really extremely well pigmented and the textures are amazing.

I personally love their skin base foundation and cream pigments
