Ipod Help :(

My 15G Ipod is acting crazy.It hasnt been played for about 3 weeks and it hasnt been charged either.I plugged it in to charge tonight and it says disk mode ok to disconnect.I cant get it to do a thing now. Any help would be great.

Try resetting your ipod. Here is a link that will tell you how to do it.

I got an error message when I tried restoring it but it didnt say what the error was.

Hold the Menu and Select button down for about 20 seconds until the Apple logo comes on. Then try plugging it to the charger.

I restarted the mac and then saw that the ipod had actually reset but you cant tell by looking at the screen.It still says disk mode but the check sign is gone.It is adding songs back on now.Will try what you just suggested when its done.

no dice....check sign is back on,no apple logo and no backlights
