The "American Idol" winner will release her first album just in time for the holidays.
JORDIN SPARKS charmed the nation with her amazing vocals and joyful personality to become the new "American Idol," now the Glendale, AZ, native is set to release her first solo album later this year.
"'American Idol' has truly been a life-altering experience," the bubbly 17-year-old said in a statement. "I can't wait to share this next chapter of my story with all the fans that have supported me so far."
Although she won the contest months ago, Jordin just signed the official deal with Jive Records and 19 Recordings.
Jordin's debut album is slated for release in November. The first single, "Tattoo," will be released on August 27.
