Knock-Off Mac 187 Brush

I suspect that the 187s (I got 2) that I purchased off of Ebay may be knock offs if any of you have a 187 that is authentic (purchased at a MAC store or counter) can you tell me if your 187 has japan on it on my brushes JAPAN is like a part of the handle it on the side that say "MAC 187 " however it is all the way at the end of the handle. Is this on your authentic 187? Do you think if I file a complaint with Paypal I can get a refund?
