I just visited the Kryolan forum and I saw some of the pictures and I loved it.

I already about Ben Nye and Makeup Forever.

I know these are professional brand makeup and I was wondering how the foundation is?

Would you apply it the same as regular foundation?

Hi, I tried a sample of MUFE Liquid Lift Foundation few weeks ago. It seemed just like every other liquid foundation

Hi,
I've used Kryolan's concealer "Dermacolor" which is a paramedical concealer. It's more dense,, therefore you don't use as much. Ben Nye's cream foundations I've used (I love their silicone based foundations). Makeup Forever's stick foundations are great.

Hope this helps.

I use MUFE Duo Mat foundation. It's a powder foundation and it's awesome. Goes on like any other powder foundation.

I used Ben Nye at one time and absolutely loved it. Perfect color match for me. Downside was how bad my skin (specifically my chin) would break out. Has this happened for others on this forum? Is there one of these lines that seems less likely to break users out?

I have used Ben Nye's Matte foundation, and it's one of my favorite foundations - especially if I know I'm going to have my photo taken!

I would be careful if you're break out prone though, as it can cause some pimples.

There are other great foundations out there such as Cinema Secrets, and RCMA which are outstanding!

If you want to learn more about them, check out Camera-Ready Cosmetics - professional makeup artist supplies and make-up

They have excellent customer service, and they allow you to return what you buy if it doesn't work for you.

Kryolan and Ben Nye are brands for cinema/tv/theater makeup. i have an aquacolor palette from Kryolan, and apart from the fact that i'm more used to powder e/s, i love it. amazing staying power, great colors, last long (mine look loike they're almost new) and considering i paid my 12 e/s palette 20€(28US$), it's also the cheapest e/s i've ever bought.

oops, i forgot. i've heard good things about the foundations, but i have never tried them myself. i can only suggest you try Makeup Forever, especially their loose e/s (the star powders), they're like MAC pigments.

I really want to try this.

i have a MUFE eyeshadow, and i like it. it's about the same quality as MAC. if you buy the single eyeshadows, they come in a solid box with a black&transparent lid, so you can see what color is inside, and it closes with a little magnet. but it's bigger than the regular e/s from MAC or UD, so you will need the MUFE palettes if you plan on buying more than one (blushes from MUFE fit also in the palettes, so it's cool).

i must say i have a slight preference for their star powders, i find them slightly more pigmented than the eyeshadows.

the MUFE store in Paris also carries some theatrical stuff, Kryolan, i'm not sure they have other brands. but unless you're a student in a MU school, i don't recommend anyone to buy there, too expensive.

Can somebody please explain to me how to use the Kryolan aquacolors? What kind of brushes do I use? How do I add water? Must I add water? Any removing mu tips for the e/s? TIA.
