Lauren Conrad: The Hills Are Alive with Truth

Add Lauren Conrad to the list of denizens of The Hills who insist the show’s true blue.

“The show is not fake and this is really my life,†Conrad, 21, writes on her MySpace page.

In a posting Thursday, she adds: “Many of you have been asking me if the rumors are true. There are false rumors every week about me and I can’t address every rumor out there, but I feel like this was important for me to respond to.â€

Conrad’s costars have also been in rumor-busting mode.

“They might do things to tweak it a little bit, but our reactions—it’s totally real. It’s reality,†Audrina Patridge claims, while Brody Jenner similarly insists, “No matter what the speculation, it is all real.†—Gerri Miller
