I like the brushes from Lumiere and Alima. Good quality and good prices.

I would say that it would depend on the kind of brushes you are looking for. if you're looking for makeup brushes in general, I'd suggest Sonia Kushak brushes from Target. They're really nice brushes. If you take good care of them, they'll stay soft yet durable for ages. I believe most of the brushes from the Sonia Kushak line are natural bristled brushes (I've heard that natural bristled brushes pick up powder better). If you're looking for kabukis, flat-top brushes, or any other mmu brushes, I'd suggest Lumiere brushes. I bought some from their Pre-Buy Sale and I couldn't be happier. I've heard that brushes from Coastal Scents are very good quality for cheap too!

Hope that helps!

Take a look at Everyday Minerals' long handled kabuki brush, it is by far the best brush ever. It is s synthetic brush, but it is sooooo soft and it does not shed at all. It's only $10 and it blows away any other kabuki I have ever used. I bought several more to use for blushers, bronzers, etc. And for mineral makeup they are just awesome. It picks up minerals and powders and distributes evenly and flawlessly. Seriously- the best brush I have ever felt and used, the performance is outstanding.

Try to find essence of beauty brushes. They are a cheap alternative to the high end brushes and really, really, good. I buy mine from CVS because I live in Washington, DC.

I got my baby kabuki from Silk Naturals and it's really nice and soft, and has never shed. If i'm not wrong, it is the same brush as Forever Female. I also got the 6pc prebuy brush set from Lumiere and it's also of very good quality.

The Long Handeled Kabuki and the New Flat Top Brush by Everyday Minerals. Cheap, but REALLY good! Also, you might want to try their new Eyeshadow Brush. I haven't tried it yet (my order is on it's way

), but I own their previous ES Brush, and it's amazing!

I've also heard some good reviews about Brush Sets that are sold on eBay by bunbuncity, about $20 a set...
