Hello all-
I just got home from the best event that I have ever attended. I went to my first MAC seminar @ Nordstrom and I had the best time. I was a bit anxious about attending because I wasn't sure what the vibe would be like. Let me tell you, everyone that was there was so down to earth and just so freaking nice. There were about 15 people (all girls) and there were all types of ages and styles. The seminar was given by Victor Cembellin who is awesome. To me, he is a cross between Justin Timberlake and Sean Hayes (Jack on Will & Grace). Not looks wise, but he was just so funny and personable. Attached is a picture of him.
The seminar lasted 2.5 hours and I wish it had lasted a lot more. He asked three girls to be his models - one for skin, one for eyes & one for lips. He showed us different techniques and ways to use the different products. He showed us how to use the stick foundation, bronzes, the new duo blushes, and so many more things. I wrote some tips down so I will type them up later and post them. I ended up getting so many things that I felt like it was Christmas. If you ever have an opportunity to attend a MAC seminar, I highly recommend it.
On to the haul:
MAC l/s - Viva Glam V
MAC e/s - Freshwater
MAC e/s - Vapour
MAC e/s - Cork (I got this one for free because I was the only one that knew what MAC stood for. Whoo hoo!!)
MAC e/l - Eye Kohl in Fascinating
MAC Cream Color Base - Hush
MAC eye brush - 224 Tapered Blending Brush
MAC brush - 252 Large Shader Brush
MAC Brush Cleaner
MAC Bulk Wipes
MAC Strobe Cream
MAC Fix +
I also got 5... yes, 5 Viva Glam postcards that included their new spokesmodel Pamela Anderson, Missy Elliot, Christina Aguilera, Linda Evangelista and Chloe Sevigny.
Off to read the rest of the posts as I am coming down from my MAC high...
The two pictures are of my MAC haul and the other is of the MAC senior artist.
