Has anyone tried both of these? I've tried NYX a few times, but I haven't formed an opinion. I haven't tried a shadestick, but I heard on here that they're being D/C. Are they worth it? Opinions? Other sticks that work well? Thanks.

My shadesticks were a little more pigmented than the NYX, but the shadesticks got all dried out. Maybe that's because they were a mini-set that I got over a year ago...

Either way, the NYX jumbo eye pencils work fine...and they're really good for the price.

NYX sells a sharpener that has a hole big enough for them. I'm sure other brands do, as well.

I have some of the jumbo pencils, but have not personaly tried them, my friend bought 1 from me, and she must have really liked it, cause she ordered a whole bunch more! She says they go on really easy.

I tried the NYX "Milk" Pencil and it went on smooth. I haven't used it though. However I have used their eyeshadows and they are wonderful so I think the pencils will be just as good. I just ordered some of their mascara YAY!!!

Ok guys, I just placed an order for 5 of these babies on the NYX website. Should arrive in a week. So I'll keep you posted how it goes!

I've been using "milk" regularly as a base for the past couple of weeks, and it works great.

OMG i was wondering how on earth I could sharpen that damn thing. I swear i used mine ONCE, as soon as i pressed the pencil against my eyelid the whole pencil tip FELL OFF and i was soooo annoyed that i just threw the "cheap sh*t" away which is why i figured it broke since i didnt even press hard at all. And i like the mac shadesticks WAY better.

Laurie (Nick007) sent me a pink jumbo stick as a gift with my purchase, haven't tried it yet, but will right now! hold on a mo....

okay- back... i like it. went on smooth, blended easily. put on a pink shadow on top, looked good. wiped it all off, came off fine as well.

I agree about the shadsticks getting dried out. Mine did also, and the NYX pencils go on smooth with little to no pressure on your lids. Where as my MAC S/T need to be pushed on to the lids.

I've only tried shadesticks, I cannot find NYX products anywhere! I guess I'll have to do an online buy to give them a try

Krazykid90, do you have an Ulta around your place? If you do, then they have it there. If not, then I guess you're going to have to look online because NYX doesn't distribute their stuff to many company.

I've only used the shadesticks, and I've noticed they tend to dry up and become difficult to use.

I've only used the shadesticks since NYX isn't sold over here.

To all those who have had their shadesticks dry up - when you close them do you hear two clicks? They don't close properly if you only get the first one.
