of course

To many to mention, since I work as a professional MUA

1. Where do you store your makeup at home, and what are the problems with this?

I store my makeup on my computer desk. My problem is that I keep buying makeup, so I'm beginning to run out of space. -__-

2. If you apply your makeup in the morning, do you take makeup with you on your day to day life to top up?

I only carry around lip products just to touch up. And if I'm having a pretty crap day due to a break out or two, I'll bring my concealer just in case.

3. How do you store makeup when on the go, is there any problems do you have with conventional makeup bags?

How I store it depends on how much I need and how long on the go I am.

If it's for a job, I usually carry around my traincase which when full weighs like an effing brick and due to travel usually kills my shoulders and my hip bones wind up bruised.

If it's for a trip (vacation) or even an overnight thing for personal use, there's this sephora brush and makeup holder thing that separates by velcro and is really nifty to use. The only thing is it's soft nylon, so I have to make sure with pressed products there's not a lot of banging going around it.

4. How many different brands of makeup do you use?

Oh boy. I give up. Lol. The stuff I mostly own is: OCC, NYX, MUFE, MAC, and Ben Nye.

5. Why do you buy certain cosmetics over others instore?

Hmm...not sure I'm catching what you're saying here exactly, but cosmetics shopping for me depends on type and finish, amount of pigmentation, product versatility, and how much product I'm getting for the cost.

6. What do you do with broken makeup?

Add a few drops of isopropyl 90% alcohol. Assuming it's a pressed powder. Usually works. I never had the issue of broken makeup until I started depotting some eyeshadows to make use of the Z-palette I bought. Then breaking galore happened cause I was an absolute newb. But it's a temp fix. The breakage doesn't fully go away, so you have to be more careful with the light mended product. When pressed powders shatter completely (to a pulp which happened to my favorite Bed Head silver eyeshadow, I put the product in a jar and done deal. It's a pigment now, lol.

7. If product allowed you to mix your own coloured makeup would you buy it?

I've got tons of that kind of makeup. Mixing is like being in art class. It's half the fun. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

8. How often do you buy new cosmetics?

I plead the 5th.

9. Do you apply your makeup in same way every time you apply it, or does this change from day to day.

I think in my case it changes year to year depending on what new technique I've picked up. These past two I've mostly done cut-creases galore cause they accentuate my small lids better.

10. Do you go online to get makeup tips?

Of course. The best way to learn is to get tips here and there from people who know their stuff and are willing to spill the beans. Especially if the beans are in video form. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

11. Is your evening/night makeup different from you daytime makeup.

Um, depends. Sometimes it really doesn't differ. Mostly because my makeup depends on what I'm wearing, and what I'm wearing depends on my mood, weather, and circumstance. If it's a bland day at work, I'm usually pulling neutral mattes with a pop of color on the lips. If it's a day hanging out with friends, it's colorful as hell makeup. If I'm with family at a birthday party, then it'll be a small shock of color in some form of smokey eye with bright lips cause I can. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

12. How many cosmetic items do you own?

Am I allowed to plead the fifth again? Um, see the post here: https://www.makeuptalk.com/t/117904/makeup-stashes-organization/150
