Makeup Selling on Ebay Tips?

I couldn't find a very recent thread on this (then again, I'm doing this on my phone.) I have quite a few back ups of old Mac Msf's that were quite popular & I bought back up's. Years later, they are still brand new in the box & I haven't even no where near used the first ones I opened up; they don't even have dents on them. I know there is a lot of fake Mac on ebay & I avoid it for any cosmetics as well but do any of you have any tips? Does it work well for you? Are there any major downfalls to avoid? With the way Ebay is now is there a real profit in it or do you think I'd just be wasting my time? I'm definitely looking to make a profit to make room for new makeup & have some extra spending money. I've sold here on MuT & had success in doing that and I might do it again soon but I just wanted some advice.
