New Year's Eve Make-up!

I'm so excited! My husband and I rarely go anywhere these days (all work and no play), so I hardly wear pull-out-all-the-stops make-up. We've been invited to a last minute New Year's Eve bash and I'm going to do smokey eyes with MAC's Black Tied eyeshadow, glittery black. I haven't worn this eyeshadow in over a year!

Anyone else gettin' "dolled up" for New Year's Eve?

I'm staying home celebrating my common law 9 year anniversary w/ my Boyfriend!

So no dressing up for me

we got semi dolled up and we are home already and in our pj's....LOL..how sad, i know.

we got dressed up and went to Morton's steakhouse.

The party was lovely, but I think we stayed out way too late. My make-up did hold up for the night, though. I think we're staying home (again) next New Year's Eve.

I did! I did this complicated lavendar shadow with a dark black v shape, sparkly white shadow on the inner corners, winged eyeliner, rhinestone studded eyelashes, and mauve lips. It turned out really cool but my husband was anxious to get to the party so I didn't have time to take pics.

I'm going to try to recreate it and post it as an FOTD, though.

I wore bright green eyeshadow. It looked great until it started to crease at the end of the night
