I haven't tried this one yet but it sounds easy enough and worth a try, I love Angel food too! Remember, The only two ingredients are the cake
mix and the pineapple, forget everything else listed on the cake box,
except the temperature that you bake the cake. Mix
the dry cake mix and the pineapple (juice and
all.) "And that's all, folks!"
No Fat Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Ingredients:
1 - 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple in its own juice
(juice and all)
1 Angel Food Cake Mix
Mix the two together well. (It will be foamy.)
Pour in a sheet cake pan. I use a 9x13 inch sheet
cake pan. Do NOT grease the pan.
(The metal kind of pan seems to work better than
the glass.)
Bake according to the cake instructions. (About
30 minutes.) Check with a tooth pick or cake
tester. Don't over or under cook.
Cool. Turn over and out on a tray. (The pineapple
goes to the bottom while cooking.)
Store in the refrigerator. Top with fat free or
low fat whipped topping and a cherry.
