Official Thanksgiving Thread 2007

I realize we have many countries other than the US visiting MakeupTalk. Here is the definition of ThanksGiving:

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks at the conclusion of the harvest season. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

I think that whether or not you celebrate "Thanksgiving" or not, everyone has someone or something to "THANK", right?

What I'd like for all of you to do is post a list of what you are thankful for AND WHY you are thankful for each one. Think hard before you reply and come up with a list of things.

What Am I thankful for?

• My wonderful wife, she is the best wife a man could have. I cannot sum it up in one sentence, no way.
• My children, all three of them. They put up with my antics and humor and my optimistic outlook on life.
• My mother, while sometimes, she's on my nerves, I am still thankful for her and her relentless caring of animals.
• My Freedom: Having freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want.
• The US Troops: Thank you for much for protecting and preserving our freedom, wishing you a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving
• My health: I try to keep healthy...never smoked, always running...keeping in shape, etc
• My Father: May he rest in peace. I thank him for passing on his wisdom of sports to me.
• Bill O'reilly: Thank for watching us and making sure that our culture here in the US isn't tainted too badly.
• GOD: I also thank this guy for giving my the strength and wisdom to be who I am today.
• Our Users here on MUT: Without you, the site is NOTHING. Keep coming!
• Our Moderators here on MUT: I thank them for their hard work and dedication for steering the site in the direction where they think it needs to be in.

i'm thankful for...

my faith! no matter how bad things get my God always provides!

my hubby and son! the most awesome guys i know!

my sister! the best, best friend a girl could have!

my health and strength! i'm too blessed to be stressed!

my country! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

my business! not everyone finds their passion. i'm blessed to have found mine!

my job! michigan is having great economic challenges, so i'm very blessed to have a great job!

my mut family! who wouldn't want 100s of friends that love the same things you love! awesome!

I'm thankful for my Mother, grandmother and daughter. The four of us are a team and I couldn''t make it without them.

I'm thankful for the troops, My son in law and all that defend our freedom on a daily basis. God bless them and keep them safe.

I'm thankful for my patients. They bring another layer to my life teaching me what the real meaning of living is

I'm thankful for my best friend who knows every litte dirty secret that I have and will take them to her grave

I'm thankful for having MUT. A place I can go just be me..........and all the friends I have made here

I'm thankful to my God who gives me strength to go on when I don't think I can anymore.

I am thankful for my family, they are so supportive and are always there for me. I am thankful that everyone is healthy, safe and have no big probelms right now.

I am thankful for my boyfriend, mostly for loving me and putting up with me, lol. It's great that we have so much in common and he gets along with everyone in my family.

I am thankful that I am able to go to a great school, that I am able to havea job, and that I am able to live (pretty much) freely and don't have to worry about how to pay for my next meal.

I am thankful for MUT, because this is an awesome place. It's so much mroe than just a forum, everyone here is so wonderful and supportive. even though my wallet is pleading for a break, I love all the makeup advice and reviews on products that make me want to try them!

I am so thankful for my son Connor, and the baby I have on the way.

I am thankful that my son is healthy, and I pray everyday the new baby will

be too.

I am thankful for my bf, he is the greatest guy ever. I am thankful he is healthy.

I am thankful for my parents, brothers, and sister... they are awesome people. I don't know what I would do without them. I am grateful that they are all healthy.

I am thankful for my health... (can you tell I have had a lot of sick people in my life?)

I am thankful for our troops... I have a few very close friends in the army (in afghanistan), marines (in iraq), national guard, etc. I pray for their safety everyday.

I'm thankful for God.

I'm thankful for my grandma, grandpa, and uncle matt. They're not here anymore, but they were the most important people in my life--EVER.

Of course MUT, the mods, and all of the awesome people I met on here.

I'm thankful for so much!

I'm thankful that 5 years ago I was given the opportunity to celebrate many more Thanksgivings (almost died in an accident a week before Thanksgiving 2002).

I'm thankful that God allowed me to have the two children doctors told me I'd never have.

I'm thankful to have met the most wonderful man on Earth, and to be able to call him my husband.

I'm thankful for my entire family, and the closest friends I have (who are family to me).

I'm thankful that I found MuT not too long after moving to NY, and finding friends I could talk to (even if they didn't live locally).

There's tons of things I'm thankful for, even if I can't remember them all ATM. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

I am thankful for my family, especially my parents. They are always there for me.

I am thankful for my health.

I am thankful for my best friend, he's the sunshine of my life.

I am thankful for for god.

And i am thankful that i found MuT with all those wonderful people!
