Hi, I am currently using the aspirin wash and oil of olay for sensitive skin moisturizer and with in a couple hours my face is an oil slick. Especially my forhead. Could anyone recommend maybe a different moisturizer or something else to do to get rid of it? And if you could recommend a foundation to use? I was thinking maybe a powder one instead of a liquid, anyone know how revlon is? Or maybe clinique?(like their superpowder or perfectly something) Would love your guys advice and recs. Thanks.

I use an oil free moisturizer. I am super oily through the t zone. I use a powder foundation now (Makeup Forever Duo Mat) and MAC blot powder. I only have to touch up powder once during the day and it is humid here.

After 25 years of trying to get rid of the oil in my t-zone, I've learn that I can't. I can only manage it. With that said, I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Eliminating Foaming Cleanser, Matte primer by MAC (or Smashbox primer), MAC Blot Powder, and MAC's blot papers. I blot my face once throughout the day. I've also been a stick-powder foundation girl. I find that this works best for my face; it stays put.

Hi,

Whatever moisturizer or liquid foundation you use, make sure they're water-based. The moisturizer should be of an oil-control nature. Also use a primer for oily skin.

For touch-ups during the day, alternate between oil control blotting tissues and oil control powder.

I really like Paula's Choice skin balancing moisturiser, it's great for oily skin. As for foundation, I use Maybelline Pure, Laura Mercier oil free and Chanel double perfection compact.

I have started to use Paula's Choice skin care and Bare Essentials night time treatment and my skin has never looked better. I got the kit for breakouts which has alot of products and the best moisterizer for oily skin I have ever used. Check out her site and see if those products interest you.
