I wear bareminerals power makeup and  a few hours later my face gets very oily, It doesnt if I dont wear any makeup. What could cause this, and how do I fix it. Thanks

It could be possible that it is clogging or irritating your skin causing it to react with oil. When I tried it my skin did not like it at all. Have you tried other MMUs?

MMU'S? I have tried other makeup live covergirl and etc and it all does it to me. Thanks

Sorry, MMU=mineral makeup. Most mineral makeups do that to me. It is why I went back to a regular liquid foundation.

Oh ok, thanks

Most likely it is the fault of the product itself. I'm sorry to say this for those who like that foundation, but Bareminerals isn't just worth the hype, i think i'm not the only one who's experienced this before, but for my case under just a few hours it was as if i applied nothing.

It can also be a reaction between the oils of your moisturizer, or your own sebum if you have oily skin, those too can be culprits for wearing off your foundation quickly.

Anyway, you can try wearing a primer under, and set your foundation with powder and setting spray. This process extends the wear of the foundation, but if it doesn't last long on you for starters, don't expect miracles.
