Ok, what phrases are you addicted to?

well, I already asked you guys what phrases really annoy you - what phrases do you love to use, love to hear others use or just cant help using?

you guys would know what some of mine are - I always use the word 'chicken' as an endearment, and I have a few other phrases that I use all the time, but I cant think of them right now.

What are you addicted to?

I say "lady" and "woman" often... just the female version of dude for me. And I say it to my students often, they find it funny for some reason.

haha, i forgot about 'the f word' i do say that a lot. I also like to say 'fool!' at the end of explanations about people I dislike - "and THEN she gave me the wrong amount of money at the till! FOOL!" haha..

Oh my, there would be really a lot, but some of my favourite and most used phrases are: "anyway" or "sure" (in almost every sentence), "so what", "it figures" and a most beloved Austrian curse word that would translate as "ass" but doesn't sound half as good in English

I say "to be honest" before I say something that is by no means anything that requires a truthful explanation..just in casual conversation...and I call people a "turkey" when they do something silly or say something funny. Not sure why I chose turkey but it just comes out w/o warning !!
