We have what we speak...if we're 'hit' by someone else's opinion it's their loss not ours.

I think it would be safe to say that this man has been beaten with an ugly stick!

And this one!

Yes! This is a real person, scary!

I saw a t.v. show on the lady pictured. I think it was 60 Minutes or the like. I remember her because who can forget that face? She has an abnormality in her skull that made it grow to strange and deformed proportions.

Her attitude is unbelievable. That's the other part of her interview that I won't forget. Despite people constantly pointing at her and gasping, she manages to have a very strong belief system and likes people. She has a really funny sense of humor and pithy comebacks.

I also remember that she was engaged to be married to a normal looking man. Wow. Incredible courage. She deals with crap every day and still loves life.

I am in awe. Her health problem is definately not internal!

Cheers!

My sweetheart & I were watching tv on Sunday & an ad for extreme makeovers came on...his comment to the screen was "you think you're ugly because that's what you say." We have what we say, & when we listen to so much worldly opinion on what a perception of beauty is, to the exclusion of inner beauty, we do ourselves a lot of unnecessary pain & suffering. With as many body issues as I've had & overcome over the years, that simple observation made more sense than all the self-help books I've ever read. We don't look at a dog & expect it to look different or behave other than it can, or an infant or an injured person...yet our choice to say 'this or that is ugly' really talks more about who we are than the object of our opinion.

The site's limited bandwidth won't let me download the page, but I plan to check it out asap. I am very interested in how a person can go from normal to "that" whatever "that" is labeled.

Thanks Allisong.

I saw here before and after pic here: http://www.askmen.com/fashion/austin...ion_style.html

Yes it is sad. Does she think it looks good? woah...

If God had wanted her to look like Pepe La Pew, He'd a made her skunk instead of looking like one.

I am going back and fourth between giggling and guilt. She did this to herself! Frankly I think this cat is cuter --->

At least it still has its origninal cheek bones ... I think!

Someone told me that Racquel Welch had two of her ribs removed in order to have a smaller waist. I do think there is such a thing as going too far. At least she is still gorgeous as always!

viva la ribs!
