Please recommend new music

I honestly haven't bought a new CD in about ten years, except for buying the Red Hot Chili Peppers CD on sale when Tower Records was closing. I'm in desperate need of some good new music!! I've been flipping through the radio to get an idea of what is out there. I'm really liking the hip-hop/R&B/soul station, but the only name I've caught is Beyonce. Who are some current hip-hip, R&B and soul musicians who are going to be classics that I must have in my CD collection? I'm also really interested in Spanish guitar music. Are there any good current bands or musicians that use Spanish guitar?

Rihanna is great. One relative unknown I'm really fond of who has a real touch of oldstyle soul is Ledisi. She's from SF and has a nice mix of new school old school in her sound.
