Regular eyeshadow vs mineral

What works better for you?

Regular eyeshadow(Ex: MAC) vs mineral eyeshadow?

what makes you choose 1 versus the other?

Or do you use both?

I like both. I seem to get better color pay off with loose/ mineral eyeshadow because it seems that I get to control how much I use.

However they are messy.

I think with the minerals, people have a greater freedom to mix colors more so than with pressed ones.

I like and use both but mineral eyeshadows can get a little messy sometimes.

Even though mineral e/s is messy, I still love the end result!!

I say Mineral since they are more pigmented and a little bit goes a long way also it does not contain preservatives and fillers like conventional eye shadows.

i love and use both. i love mineral shadows for a smokey eye. great for building and graduating your color and the deeper colors are very rich. the deeper colors seem to stay truer on me in mineral shadows. highlighters, pastals and bright colors look much better on me in regular shadows.
