i'm tempted to buy this foundation since its buy one get one free right now at CVS PLUS i have $4.50 CVS bucks, so i'm thinking $7.49 is a good deal for 2 foundations, BUT my question is, who here has used this foundation, is it any good and is it pretty thick since its called colorstay, how does it compare to MAC's fix fluid, as far as thckness goes (of course) any help, cause i'll be going in a bit. thanx!

I use revlon colorstay pretty regularly. I have it in the oily/combo forumula. The color really does last, but at least for the formula i picked up-- it's not one of those thick & creamy foundations. I find it very easy to apply & blend. I'm not sure if the dry skin formula would be any thicker, but what I have is a sort of medium consistency between thin and thick. Sounds like you'll be getting a good deal on it-- you should give it a try!

Hmm.. it depends on what formula it is. The original formula is a bigger bottle (2 oz??) I am not sure, I am at work right now and don't have access to my makeup! The original formula is thick and dries pretty quickly and is the better formula IMO, I would buy as many as I could if I had the money because it is now discontinued. The newer version of this foundation has something called Soft-Flex .. it's a more watered-down version of the original, which is what I am now using because it doesn't cause me to break out. Either way, I think the product is worth trying, I've been using it for over 10 years.

I believe the old ColorStay had 1.25 oz and the new one has 1.0 oz.

The old ColorStay was thicker like Scarlette said. The new stuff is definitely thinner than Studio Fix Fluid, but I still get similar coverage to SFF.

It's definitely worth the money...especially if you're getting so much off the cost!

Revlon Colorstay is my HG. I absolutely adore it. It really is worth trying, especially with the good deal you're getting. Let us know how you like it.

I'm using Colorstay with SoftFlex in combo/oily version. I love it! It's not thick, easy to blend and it does stay! Really natural looking too. Even my mom (who doesn't wear foundation for yonks) asked me to buy this for her. You should try it!

I think it has alot of coverage and too much for me. I mix it with my moisturizer. I like light coverage foundations.

it was a bit much for me, I found it tended to run off on my skin so I didn't finish using it. But my skin doesn't tend to do well with liquid foundations either.

I works fantastic for me... but then again i have more to hide that most.... lol

I like it, I have not had a lot of experence with different foundations, once I've found somethink I like, I tend to stay with it. So I recommend it as its easy to apply and it works well for me.

Im thinking to buy Revlons colourstay or Giorgio Armani's Foundation. my country is hot and humid. i have pimply skin. oily. Currently im using Shu Uemera's(LF), Averine(LF), and Maybellines angel Fit (Compact Foundation)...i have MAC's studio tech (CF) but....it breaks me out. coverage is good.

i just bought it today and to see what the hype was all about.. IMO, it's like another version of studio fix fluid. just a little more 'liquidy' as compared to the thicker 'cream' of the studio fix fluid. but however, the staying power and coverage is comparable.

I think colorstay is great with good coverage.
