This is one of the funniest things I've seen! My daughter has pet Sea Monkeys. Came home today, and I guess somebody had been playing Barry White 'cause two of them were having some Monkey Love! lol..

I had about 5 "jars" of those things when I was a kid. They are freeze-dried brine shrimp brought back to life through packets of weird stuff and water.

Yes, they're quite amazing, actually! I had some when I was a kid, too, but I think I killed them off before they got very big. These are actually quite big! (Well, for Sea Monkeys, compared to when they start out and are as big as the period at the end of this sentence).
Anyway, the booklet did say they would mate, just never thought they'd get big enough for us to see, lol!

Really? I've had them before, and also those tadpoles that they send you in the mail that come in the giant styrofoam cup... anyone else ever have them???

I have seen them in like toys r us,but i just never got them cause my mom saud it was like dust particles,lol,but im sure my 2 and 3 yrold eill get a kick out of them

lol And after sparking my own curiosity w/ those tadpoles... I researched a little and found the kind I used to have!

They still sell them, although they still sell the "OriginaL' (that I had) they've upgraded a little in their 'habitats' they sell... although they are $19.99 now... I doubt they were that much 20 years ago!
