Should I get the 182 brush?

OK, so the kabuki brush I have now is not that good. It's scratchy and not at all soft. I tried the 182 from MAC at the store once, and it was so soft and lovely. However, I haven't bought it yet because it is so expensive.

Now, I have a friend who is working in the US for some time. Because of the currency rate, I'd get the 182 for a lot less money if she bought it for 45 dollars, than if I buy it for 475 Swedish Kronor (45 USD converts to about 290 SEK). Still though, I feel that 45 dollars is a LOT of money. Is the 182 brush worth it?

Edit: I have read some threads on the 182, but I still can't decide what to do!

Before you purchase the MAC kabuki, look at some of the kabukis that are offered by the mineral makeup companies. I have heard that they are extremely soft.

Thanks! I took a look at the AN site, and I like the fact that the brushes seem to be vegan approved. Do you guys use the premium series kabuki?

I've tried a lot of kabukis, including chanel's, and nothing compares to the 182 brush. It is amazing... probably my favorite makeup purchase ever. I bought it like 2 months ago, and now that I look back.. I wonder, what was I waiting for? I think seeing Thais' mineral makeup tutorial sealed the deal for me. My makeup did not go on like hers, and I could tell it was because of my brush. I have flawless coverage when I use my 182 to apply makeup. Get it!!! That's not a bad deal if you have someone cp it from the USA.

Sounds like a lot of girls like the MAC 182. I haven't tried it, but I did buy the Bare Minerals kabuki. It was great until I washed it, now it's fairly useless. Just FYI.

Yeah... When I started with mineral makeup I used the bare esentuals kabuki... and now I can't believe how bad it was. I always complained it was soooo scratchy on my face.

Rimmel makes a nice soft kabuki and it retails for under $10. I really like it.
